Jakarta, March 2, 2026 — PLN Nusantara Power Services (PLN NPS), a subsidiary of PLN Nusantara Power specializing in power plant operation and maintenance services, has entered into a strategic partnership with South Korean global company KEPCO Plant Service & Engineering (KEPCO KPS). The collaboration was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) titled Strategic Business Collaboration in the Power Sector for Global Markets on Tuesday (February 24) in Jakarta.
The MoU was signed by PLN NPS President Director Jakfar Sadiq and KEPCO KPS President & CEO Kim Hongyoun as an initial milestone in a long-term partnership aimed at strengthening both companies’ positions as providers of globally standardized power sector services.
This collaboration covers the development of joint projects, participation in international tenders, human resource capacity building, as well as synergy in technology and innovation in the power generation sector. The scope of cooperation includes operation and maintenance (O&M) services, maintenance repair & overhaul (MRO), engineering services, power plant reliability and efficiency improvement, as well as decarbonization and energy transition initiatives.
President Director of PLN Nusantara Power, Ruly Firmansyah, emphasized that this partnership is a strategic step for the PLN NP Group in strengthening global competitiveness while expanding its international market presence.
“The collaboration between PLN NP Services and KEPCO KPS is an important momentum to enhance technical capabilities, expand global business networks, and accelerate knowledge and technology transfer. We believe this synergy will strengthen the position of the PLN Nusantara Power Group as a world-class player in the power services and sustainable energy sector,” said Ruly.
PLN NPS President Director, Jakfar Sadiq, stated that this partnership is a strategic move by the company to broaden its global network while reinforcing its competitiveness in the O&M and engineering services industry.
“This partnership reflects PLN NP Services’ commitment to continue growing and transforming into a competitive O&M and engineering services company at the international level. The synergy with KEPCO KPS is expected to open opportunities for global market expansion while also encouraging knowledge and technology transfer,” Jakfar explained.
Meanwhile, KEPCO KPS President & CEO, Kim Hongyoun, stressed that this cooperation is not only business-oriented, but also contributes to addressing global energy challenges.
