Derma Nusantara: PLN NP’s Expression of Gratitude and Care for the Community
Jakarta, July 30 – PT PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) has reaffirmed its commitment to growing alongside the community through the Derma Nusantara Program. Held simultaneously across 36 locations nationwide, the initiative distributed cash assistance totaling IDR 430 million to 1,792 beneficiaries.
Organized by PLN Nusantara Power units, the Derma Nusantara program serves as an expression of gratitude and corporate social responsibility toward communities surrounding the company's operational areas. The event featured joint prayers, the distribution of aid to orphans, and financial support for social foundations and institutions.
Through this initiative, PLN Nusantara Power aims not only to provide material support, but also to strengthen relationships between the company, local communities, and key stakeholders in each operational region.
President Director of PLN Nusantara Power, Ruly Firmansyah, highlighted that Derma Nusantara is a tangible manifestation of the company's presence within the community. He noted that PLN NP's mission extends beyond delivering reliable electricity to creating direct social benefits for society.
"Derma Nusantara serves as a momentum for all PLN Nusantara Power employees to deepen their gratitude and care for others. We hope the assistance provided brings real value and joy to the recipients," said Ruly.
Executing the program across 36 locations reflects the shared spirit of unity throughout PLN Nusantara Power’s operational units in spreading positive impact across Indonesia. To ensure effective distribution, each unit collaborated with local communities, social foundations, and local leaders so that the aid reached those truly in need.
Alongside the aid distribution, joint prayers formed a central part of the Derma Nusantara program. Prayers were offered for the safety of all employees, smooth operational activities, power plant reliability, and the continued sustainability of PLN Nusantara Power’s contributions to national energy security.
The initiative also serves as a platform to foster a culture of sharing and reinforce social values within the corporate environment. PLN Nusantara Power remains dedicated to maintaining harmonious relations with local communities alongside the growth and presence of its business units in various regions.
