Jakarta, February 11, 2026 — PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) continues to strengthen its commitment to national energy self-reliance through the enhanced implementation of Domestic Component Level (TKDN). This step is taken to ensure the reliability of power plants while also revitalizing the domestic manufacturing ecosystem. This commitment was marked by the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between PT PLN Suku Cadang (PLN SC), a subsidiary of PLN Nusantara Power, and PT Metinca Prima Industrial Works, held on Thursday (February 5) in Tambun, Bekasi.
This partnership covers the supply of various casting components, valves, and other supporting spare parts for power plants and the national electricity infrastructure. The collaboration also represents a concrete step by PLN NP in promoting the utilization of domestically manufactured products and strengthening the national supply chain based on local industry.
President Director of PLN Nusantara Power, Ruly Firmansyah, emphasized that strengthening TKDN is an important part of the transformation of the national electricity sector currently being carried out by the PLN Group.
“PLN Nusantara Power is committed to making TKDN a foundation for maintaining power plant reliability and strengthening national industrial self-reliance. Through the collaboration between PLN Suku Cadang and Metinca, we are ensuring that the operational needs of power plants are fulfilled by domestic products manufactured by qualified and competitive local workers,” said Ruly.
He added that collaboration with local manufacturing industries creates multiple benefits for the national electricity sector and local workforce.
“Strengthening TKDN not only ensures the sustainability of spare parts supply, but also promotes import substitution, cost efficiency, and the creation of sustainable added value for national industry,” he added.
President Director of PT PLN Suku Cadang, Thommi Haposan, stated that this cooperation is in line with PLN Suku Cadang’s role as a provider of electricity supply chain solutions that upholds the principle of QTH (Quality, Time, and Price).
“We are optimistic that the products manufactured by PT Metinca Prima Industrial Works meet the required standards in terms of Quality, timely delivery, and competitive Pricing. This collaboration strengthens the role of PLN Suku Cadang in ensuring power plant reliability while also supporting increased utilization of domestic products,” Thommi affirmed.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT Metinca Prima Industrial Works, Hasan Naser, expressed the company’s readiness to support the needs of the national electricity sector through high-quality products.
“Our decades of experience in manufacturing casting components for various industrial sectors, including power plants, serves as a key foundation for maintaining product quality. This success is supported by our competent human resources, technology, and production facilities,” said Hasan.
Hasan also expressed appreciation for the trust placed by PLN Suku Cadang in this strategic partnership.
“We hope this collaboration will create added value for both parties while also expanding the contribution of the domestic manufacturing industry in supporting the reliability of the national electricity infrastructure,” he concluded.
The series of agreement-signing activities concluded with a visit to Metinca’s production facilities, including the foundry area, the manufacturing processes for casting components and valves, as well as machining and finishing services, to ensure the quality standards and production capabilities of this strategic partner.
Going forward, PLN Nusantara Power hopes that this cooperation will further strengthen the implementation of TKDN in the electricity sector, ensure the reliability of the national power supply, and encourage the growth of a competitive and sustainable domestic manufacturing industry. (*)
