jakarta, 11 September 2025 – PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) demonstrates its commitment to supporting the development of Indonesia’s national construction sector through a range of innovative solutions. At Construction Indonesia 2025, held at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta, from 10–13 September 2025, PLN NP showcases its flagship services, covering Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) solutions as well as the utilization of Fly Ash and Bottom Ash (FABA) as environmentally friendly construction materials.
Through its subsidiary, PLN Nusantara Power Construction (NPC), PLN NP offers comprehensive EPC services in the fields of power generation, transmission, substations, and the Availability Improvement Program (AIP). With more than 20 years of experience, PLN NPC has delivered hundreds of strategic projects both domestically and internationally, including renewable energy–based power plants and participation in the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project in Malaysia.
PLN NPC’s strong track record is reflected in the successful completion of numerous projects, including 65 substation projects with a total capacity of 3,320 MVA, 126 transmission projects spanning 3,844.63 km, 17 fossil fuel power plant projects with a combined capacity of 542 MW, and 8 renewable energy power plant projects totaling 28.5 MW. In addition, since 2016, PLN NPC has completed 113 Availability Improvement projects that have significantly contributed to enhancing the reliability of Indonesia’s national power system. On the international stage, PLN NPC has also achieved notable milestones through EPC works and commissioning for the ECRL Malaysia project, a 665 km double-track electric railway system that forms part of the country’s ESG agenda.
Beyond EPC services, PLN NP also presents sustainable solutions through the utilization of FABA, a by-product of power generation that has now been classified as non-hazardous (non-B3) and safe for use. FABA offers numerous advantages, including cost efficiency, improved construction durability, and reduced CO? emissions. This material has been widely applied in various construction needs, ranging from cement mixtures, ready-mix concrete, and paving blocks to road and bridge foundations. With a production capacity exceeding 80,000 tons of FABA per month from 20 power plants across Indonesia, PLN NP is well positioned to support national construction material demands.
President Director of PLN Nusantara Power, Ruly Firmansyah, emphasized that PLN NP’s participation in Construction Indonesia 2025 is a tangible manifestation of the company’s contribution to the national construction industry.
“PLN Nusantara Power is not only committed to providing reliable electricity, but also to promoting sustainable construction practices. Through integrated EPC services and the utilization of FABA as an environmentally friendly material, we aim to ensure that infrastructure development in Indonesia is not only robust, but also supports the clean and sustainable energy transition,” said Ruly.
PLN NP’s presence at Construction Indonesia 2025 reinforces the company’s position as a strategic partner in realizing resilient, efficient, and sustainable national infrastructure development, while simultaneously expanding Indonesia’s role on the international construction stage.
