Ramadan 2026, PLN Nusantara Power Distributes Rp2.5 Billion to 19,000 Beneficiaries Through Berkah Nusantara

Jakarta, March 18, 2026 — PLN Nusantara Power (PLN NP) has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting community welfare through its Berkah Nusantara Program during Ramadan 2026. Through this program, PLN NP distributed assistance worth more than Rp2.5 billion to 19,252 beneficiaries across Indonesia.

This program, which forms part of the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) initiative, was carried out by all PLN NP generation units and subsidiaries in collaboration with LAZIS PLN NP as the distribution partner.

The assistance provided included thousands of staple food packages for underprivileged communities, as well as donations for orphans and disadvantaged groups. In addition, PLN NP also organized various social activities such as sharing iftar snacks, holding communal fast-breaking events, and conducting religious programs for surrounding communities.

President Director of PLN Nusantara Power, Ruly Firmansyah, emphasized that the program is part of the company’s strategy to create added value for society.

“PLN Nusantara Power is not only focused on the reliability of electricity supply, but also on delivering sustainable social contributions. The Berkah Nusantara Program is one tangible expression of our commitment to being present and providing direct benefits to the community, especially during the momentum of Ramadan,” said Ruly.

On the other hand, religious activities also helped strengthen the program’s social impact. One example was the Qur’an Recitation Competition organized by the Brantas Generation Unit, which involved children from the surrounding community.

The Berkah Nusantara Program, which is implemented regularly every year, forms part of PLN Nusantara Power’s efforts to support sustainable socio-economic development in communities. Through this initiative, the company not only strengthens its relationship with stakeholders, but also helps promote more equitable welfare across its various operational areas. (*)
